Today has been a much better day for Lucy. She’s getting warm, moist oxygen and antibiotics while we wait for the lab results to come back with a diagnosis. She is breathing much easier, playing with toys, reading books and watching shows.
Good news is it’s not Pneumonia and it’s probably also not major cardiac deterioration. Thank you, Lord for good reports and for available medical assistance when needed.
One of my former lawyer colleagues used to say about older folks, “Sometimes they just need to check into the hospital for a tune-up. You know, a little medicine, IV fluids, and personal care and they’re ready for the next few thousand miles.” It’s pretty much the same with Lucy.
Thanks for your continued prayers.
God is always good, and we are in his hands. +james

praise GOd for encouraging news. may He continue to be with you all, and grant healing to Lucy. will continue to pray.
This is such good news! Sometimes, the hospital is the best place to be. I’m waiting with you while Lu gets strong enough to head back home. Much love to you all from me.
James and Katy,
I am so thankful that God has already answered prayers for Lucy and you all.
I also so enjoyed finally meeting you, ( in the elevator ), and also talking to your children at the Dec. wedding! I’m close to your siblings in the middle range of the family, downward, and love your Mom and Dad too.l I rejoice with you all for the fellowship, faith, triumphs, and growing that Lucy has been a big part of!
Thanks for your beautiful, faithful, and God searching entries shared with us all!
Love in Christ, Mary Dell Lorenz
